Warsaw
The capital of Poland, and the biggest Polish city, teeming with life all day and night. Its historical centre was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Almost entirely destroyed during the Second World War it was rebuilt, and today is a veritable tourist attraction. Not only its many monuments, but also the great parks, such as Łazienki make this city an ideal target for a few days outing. Warsaw has the largest international airport in Poland, with direct flights of low-fares airlines to London, Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Cork, Shannon and many other European cities.
Warsaw has hundreds of monuments that have to be seen during a stay in Poland (Old Town, Royal Castle, National Museum, , Barbican).
